"When I began my calling in the ministry I helped a large church bring media into their worship environment. As a small fish swimming in big pond I was excited to find SongShow Plus. It was the best thing since sliced bread as far as I could tell and the capabilities were never-ending. I moved from that big church, who still used SSP to this day, and began pastoring a small church. At the same time I began leading worship at a local Christian School. So naturally my first choice was to explore all my projection options. I found nothing could even compare to the power and user friendly nature of SongShow Plus. I used it in both environments, for subtle presentation at a primarily older rural congregation, and as a cutting edge media environment that kept kids on the edge of their seats. What I liked most was the ability to include everything in one place. All I had to do was drop songs in from Song Select, make 3 or less mouse clicks and my song was projected. "Our church purchased and began using Song Show Plus in Mid-2002, shortly after installing our video projection system. Since that time, we have used the software non-stop for lyrics projection during praise and worship. Our praise and worship includes a combination of old hymns, traditional Christian and comtemporary Christian music, and we use Song Show Plus for all of them. We pull songs from the Song Select database, download from the website and often type in new song lyrics ourselves, including some songs written by staff. For graphic backgrounds, we pull from the ones provided by Song Show, add photos from other sources and make our own pics from vacations and other opportunities and upload to the image directory. Occasionally, we also design our own. Through all these permutations and adjustments, Song Show has proven to be a dependable and flexible platform which serves to enhance our worship experience while never interfering or distracting.
