This window lets you specify the timing properties a slide show.

 

Advanced the slide show

Manually

The slide show is advanced when the user clicks the next step button.

Automatically

The slide show automatically advances based on the timing settings below.

 

Slide presentation time

Individual

Each slide has its own duration. Slides can have different durations.

Identical

All slides have the same duration.

 

Specify time for

This setting is available when Individual is selected above.

Each Slide

You will specify the duration that will be used for each slide. The total slide show duration will be the slide duration multiplied by the number of slides.

Entire Slide Show

You will specify the duration of the entire slide show. The duration for each slide is calculated by this duration divided by the number of slides.

 

Presentation time for each slide

This setting is available when Individual and Each Slide is selected above.

Enter the duration, in seconds, that will be used for each slide.

 

Length of the slide show

This setting is available when Individual and Entire Slide Show is selected above.

Enter the duration, in seconds, that will be used for the entire slide show.

 

If an audio track is specified...Use its length to set the length of the slide show

This setting is available when Individual and Entire Slide Show is selected above.

Yes

The duration of the slide show will match the duration of the audio track. If no audio track is used, the slide show will use the duration specified in Length of the slide show.

No

The duration of the slide show is set in Length of the slide show.

 

Loop slide show

This setting is available when the slide show is set to advance Automatically.

Yes

The slide show will automatically loop after it completes.

No

The slide show will play just once.

 

Automatically advance the first animated step

Yes

The first animated item will enter the same time the slide enters. If the slide has a transition and the item has an animation, then both of these will take place at the same time. This eliminates the situation where a slide may look empty because all of its objects are animated.

No

The first animated object enters after the slide has completely entered.
