Quick Message Facility: This facility lets you superimpose a
message over an active application to alert a
congregation to nursery call numbers and other important
messages.
Important changes to make note of:
Display property settings: Due to changes in how display property
settings are stored, settings from version 2.0 are not
carried over to version 3.0. Also, font sizes are now designed to be consistent, even if the display size
changes.
Display window pop-up menu: To access the display widow pop-up menu,
you now must press both the [Left-Mouse Button] and
[Right-Mouse Button] simultaneously. This change was made
to accommodate the enhanced mouse support for the display
window.
Step back button: The step back button never really worked
correctly in version 2.0. This has been fixed.
Hotkeys for QuickMessage: The hotkeys for QuickMessage has been
changed to F9 (display) and F10 (display with blackout).
This was changed from F7 and F8 to make room for video
playback controls using the function keys.
Network support: Network support has changed. If you were
sharing files over a network, you will need to
reconfigure this (usually done at installation time now).
Now, in addition to sharing files, you can also share
display and other settings with other machines.
User Dictionary: The user dictionary from version 2.0 is
deleted (sorry). The new dictionary is stored along with
user data, not the application files.
SongShow Plus Database Limit: When using the SongShow Plus database in
versions 1 and 2, you were limited to 800 songs. This
numbers has been increased to 2000.
Resizable windows: The main window and sub-panels are now
completely resizable.
