Version 8.3 > Text & image boxes not moving properly in SSB

Win 10, SSP 8.3
In the last couple of weeks I haven't been able to move boxes (text, etc.) a small amount on the edit screen. They will move but only 5 or 10 units at a time -- no fine movement. If I move a box, say, 3 units, it will jump back to the starting position when the left button is released. Also the final position when moving will often be lined up with another box (if there is one). My only option at this point is to use the arrow keys to finely position a box - a nice option, but a hassle to use all the time. Any suggestions?

Dick,
My guess is that you have the Snap To Grid enabled in the preferences.
Preferences > Edit Window > Snap to grid after....
Check that out....
