When playing a video in SSP, the video takes over the entire display

10/9/2006

Symptom:

When playing a video in SSP, rather than being presented in the SSP display window, the video is rendered on top of the SSP display window, usually by taking complete control of the display.

Possible Cause:

Full Screen Video settings (NVIDIA cards) or Theater Mode settings (ATI cards) may be set to enabled forcing the video to be displayed full screen on the secondary display (SSP display or projection screen)

Solution:

For steps to check and adjust these settings, refer to the Full Screen or Theater Mode Video Settings for Dual Monitors (DI006) Knowledge Base article.
