Version 8.0 > .MOV and .MP4 files ot recognized

Hi Folks - With the upgrade from 7 - version 8, the MOV and MP4 files stopped playing. WMV files still work. All the files play fine outside of SSP.
SSP support had me remove VLC media player - this made no difference, I have reinstalled as I need to be able to play .mov files. I have tried turning on and off the trusted codec options.
Any thoughts? Thanks....TP

Same thing happening for us. It's irritating, as these video files play perfectly fine in Windows...just not in Songshow. We buy video files from multiple sources....most aren't working now...

The easy thing to do is just reformat to WMV with any of the dozens of programs, many free, available.

This is odd as I would expect them to work as well as long as you have the H.264 Plug-in from us purchased and activated on you accounts and systems.
I would check and make sure you have this and make sure your video options are set to Option A.
If they still do not work then contact support so we can investigate.
While it is true that you can convert videos to WMV, you shouldn't have to....
