Has anyone found any codecs that work to play .mov files in the new november edition

I use the K-Lite Codec Pack and it works for me fine.

Thanks, this got me started.
I installed this, and now play .mov files in SSP, but without sound.
I installed version 4.3.4 (full), and chose profile 3 Playback only.

Any other hints?
I've tried to look at all the options - I would call it Acronym Overload!

Thanks!

Not sure why you get no sound. I installed the full version and I get both video and sound. You may have a conflict with some other codec on the machine. Can you play the .mov with the Media Player Clasic that comes with K-Lite?

If I use the Media Player Classic that is installed with K-lite, the mov files have sound.

If I use the Windows media player, the mov files do not have sound.

So I assume SSP is using the regular Windows media player, so I can test this outside of SSP. I don't know much about codecs, but I guess I will start ;*)

Thanks,

Mark

The Klite codec works for me, but I'm noticing a random glitch where our default background flashes briefly on the screen.  At first, I thought maybe it was the loop when it starts over, but its not happening at the same interval.  I did not do anything special configuring Klite.  Are there any special settings that need to be tweaked?
