What Bible translations does your church use on a regular basis. More specifically, what translations do you (or want to) use with presentations.

We've used just NIV for as long as we've use SSP.

We use NIV by default but our pastor always uses "The Message".

NIV about 95% of the time. We have QuickVerse so have about 10-15 available if we choose.

With 4 pastors and a whole bunch of lay liturgists, we use quite a few translations on a regular basis. NRSV, NIV, The Message, Living Bible, CEV and KJV are the main ones. Thanks to Online Bible we have most of them covered.

NIV, though occasionally the pastor will include other passages in his sermons.

We use NIV and New Living Translation. Would love to simplify life with built in license.

We use NIV, but as we don't have it built into SSP, we have to use BibleGateway.com to copy and paste into a powerpoint file for scripture reading. I've heard that a few years ago we had a license for NIV in SSP, but we have gone through a computer or two since and have no idea where it is.

If you are using online bible, you can download the main modules for free and purchase and unlock code for just NIV for $15 or so (sorry, I don't have time to look it up.) That's what we've done and it was a great investment.

You can also purchase a CD from GoFishMedia.net (who sells SSP). I think that's $40 with 4 versions.

Do you have a link for the download of the modules? I was looking for a way to unlock only NIV but only found the CD on the website. I might have overlooked something though.

I got an Email from Go Fish Media in the past week and they now sell online Bible. Check it out here http://www.gofishmedia.net/products/tabid/57/CategoryID/1/List/1/ProductID/26/Default.aspx?SortField=ProductName,ProductName

Here's the link for Online-Bible The downloads are toward the bottom of the page.

Even if you had the CD, you would need the unlock code for the NIV. I got mine in an email. But I purchased it online. If you've lost it, you may need to purchase another code.

Primarily NKJV (Senior Pastor) - also use NIV (Other Pastor), NASB (sometimes), Message (Men's Pastor), and NLT (as the Spirit leads!) :)

Our church needs the NIV (with inclusive language) and/or TEV versions. Are either available yet?

Our Sr. pastor switched from the 1984 NIV to the 2011 NIV (w/o telling me. I'm not sure he even knew.) I've contacted Online-Bible and R-Technics and neither has been able to procure the rights to create an electronic version.

For the sermons, I insert the 1984 text from the Online-Bible then compare it to the 2011 text from Biblegateway.com and tweak the slides as necessary. It's the best workflow that I've come up with.

But no on the fly solutions yet.

At one time we were almost exclusively NKJV. Now we use: ESV, NIV, NKJV.
