You Tell Us! > SSP and 64 bit Windows operating systems
Breaking the 4GB memory barrier would be a good thing.
On our current computer we are running Windows XP Pro with an AMD 64 x2 dual core 4200+ processor. When running SSP 7 I have noticed in the windows task manager that it is only using 1 processor of the dual core processor. So the computer is only running at 2.1G of processor speed. Is there any chance that the program can be setup to utilize the other processor? We have had several minor glitches in the program that have been solved by the tech team, but I feel that the dual core processor is not going away. By utilizing the other processor it would allow things to run smoother in the program.
I have SSP on my 64 bit laptop, Have not had any issues. Using Vista Home Premium 64.

I have not had any issues running on Vista Home Premium 64.
Our main projection machine at church is still XP Pro 32. But my laptop is Vista 64 and I used it at 2 conferences this summer and it worked like a champ.
Is there any chance that the program can be setup to utilize the other processor?
The current build of SSP runs on a single core. We plan to retest SSP in a multi-core mode with the next edtion and are hopeful that it will be mult-core compatible.

+1 (I like this)
the latest and greatest SSP edition and wonder: will it utilize the 4 cores? is there any benefit? do I have to do something
or is it automatic? maybe I should just leave well enough alone!
