Version 5.5 > Video File Recognition in SSP 5.5

I've recently been trying to fix things to where we can play mp4, mov, etc. files in our services through SongShow.
I have Quicktime, Windows Media Player, and the K-Lite Codec Pack installed, so codecs aren't a problem.
My question is how do I add file types to the recognized files within SongShow. I just can't get them to show up when I search for them in SongShow.
I'm pretty sure I've read elsewhere that this is possible, so any help would be appreciated!

I don't know if you can do that in 5.5 I can't remember when that feature was added.
In SongShow Plus v7, you go to Tools->Utilities and select Recognized video files to click on the suffixes you want added.

File type selection is not available in version 5.5.
If you are wanting to play H.264 videos, your best bet would be to update to the current release and buy the H.264 plugin. The new file types will automatically be added once these are installed.
