Is it just a coincidence that the "DeckLink Plug-in" is the same price as the "Decklink HD Extreme" card, or is the card part of the 'plug-in'?

Also interested to know whether you HAVE to use one of the decklink card's video outputs (in a set-up where the computer is doing the overlaying). Or can you still use the computer's video card like we do already? The reason I ask is because a lot of projectors don't have SDI inputs and there is no other way of getting higher-than-SD res video out of the cheaper decklink cards.

In any case IMO this is one of the most significant advances in SSP in a long time, possibly even since SSP began! I'm surprised I came across information about it by mistake, mind you it is hot off the press news is it not? I will be keeping an eye on updates when they become available, not only for my church's sake, but also now for my video production companies sake!

The card and the plug-in are separate. There is a less expensive card available for those who only want to use the Internal Key mode.

For those who want to go directly from the computer to the projector, you will need an additional adapter unless your projector can accept and SDI input. GoFishMedia will have those various adapters available. Using the computer's video card output is not an option for this particular solution.

Thanks for the enthusiasm! This project has been in the works for a long time so I'm happy that its finally available!
