Version 8.4 > Where did my "break" go??

I have used "breaks" in the program panel and I still have them in my programs,
but I can't seem to find how to insert a new one. I'm sure it is a simple
matter, but nothing I try (rt. click to insert or using the pull-down "insert
program item") allows me to insert a break with centered text and gray
background. Very frustrating to this 83 year-old brain to have forgotten
how to do this simple task. Also couldn't find anything in Help about it.
Finally copied, pasted, & edited, but I'm sure that isn't the way they
planned for me to insert this item.

Hi Dick - You are not imagining things.
While the "old" breaks are still displayed/supported in programs for backwards compatibility, they were removed from the Insert Items list quite some time ago, early in version 8.1 with the enhancement for Service Sections/Items.  There are still Empty Line and Separator objects that you can use as well though they do not have the same formatting options as the old break did.

If you still want to use them, the copy/paste method will certainly work.

Thanks, George. Now my question is, "Why in the world did they remove them?'
They were useful and I'm sure it took more effort to remove them to leave them alone.
