Kewl!!!

I may try to check out the secondary Display monitor this weekend. Exporting SSB to HTML sounds interesting.

Did you ever try this? How did it work?

Sorry I forgot to respond to this.

I am currently using the beta on my workstation PC. I installed one of my old, but best available, PCI cards to test it out. It does require a third monitor to be connected, so I haven't been able to test it. SSP will use the 3rd monitor as the display monitor if it only detects two monitors.

Regretably, the video card does have to support DirectX 9c, or it brings SSP down to it's capabilities. I would think that if you only plan on sending monochrome signal the the third output, that SSP could ingore its capabilities when it drives the other vidoe card. Of course that may have happened for me because I don't have all three outputs connected. Please let me know if this is the case.

You are correct that this requires 3 displays connected to work.  As you indicated the second connected display is used as the projection display and if this is the non DX9 card that would cause the degradation.

This has been tested extensively with 3 displays and works as expected.  If you are able to connect a 3rd monitor and you still have issues, drop a post in the beta forum.

I'm a bit confused by the previous two posts. The stage monitor does not use DirectX. The presence of a non-DirectX card in a system does not cause SSP to degrade to a non-DirectX mode.

If SSP tries to use a non-directx 9 card, SSB becomes uneditable until you manually turn off High End Graphics in the Display Monitor Options. The mouse ICON will change to a hour-glass when it is placed over SSB, and you cannot edit any text bojects.

When I can connect a third monitor to the system, I will report back if it makes any changes.

Sounds like something we can look into. Please post these issues in the Beta Test Support forum. Thanks.

Connecting the third monitor resolved the issue. I borrowed one from the church projection system. Other findings will be posted in the beta forum.
