Anyone else having trouble with the color picker in SlideShow Builder? For me it always picks a light gray color, no matter what I point it to.

I know I should call support, but I never think of it when I have time.

SSP vs. 8.4 (8/9/17), Win10
Mine works OK. I use ColorCop most of the time.

Joel.

I was able to confirm that the Color Picker in SSB worked as expected to select a color both inside and outside of SSB.

If you are seeing this in a particular area (or anywhere) this info could be helpful as well as exact steps to replicate.

As always, if this persists please contact support so they can take a look.

Where I am hitting this in with the text color picker in SSP. I'm just getting grays, no hues. This happens whether I pick from the current slide or from one of the preview slides.

Interesting. I downloaded color cop and I'm having the same issue with that. My Photoshop color picker works, but only within Photoshop.

I figured it out. If I set my Display Settings under "Change the size of text, apps and other items" to 100%, the color picker works.

But with my QHD 15.6" idsplay, 100% is too small, so I usually run at 150% - 200% and the Color picker picks the wron pixels.

Interesting....

I was able to replicate this behavior.

We may have to did into this further though we have had a few other issues with the scale settings.
The current recommendation is to set it to 100% (that is where we test) but I realize some do change this.

I have added this to be investigated but no promises on a change...

Well, my screen is not usable at 100%, so I will have to do w/o the color picker for now.

Here's a couple screen shots
