Version 9.3 > 9.3 Isn't working AT ALL

I finally tried upgrading to 9.3. We've been on 9.1 forever. But it was pretty stable, so I was hesitant to upgrade.  Tried to upgrade. 9.3 side installs (nice!), but it crashes all the time!  Selecting most any video makes it stop responding and then crash. These are all videos that work fine on this machine and in 9.1. They are MP4s background graphics for songs. When I try to pick them as a background, sometimes the first one works. But when I try to pick the second video background for the second song, it crashes. SO VERY PAINFUL!

Any advice?  I did find the help that said make sure I had set the global properties to FADE and FULL. That helped some, but not near enough.

On our projection PC vs. 9.3 stopped working and we could not get it fixed even with downloading a fresh copy. Vs. 9.2 is ok as long as we keep our eyes on the task manager and not let the memory usage go above about 850Mb. This is mainly a problem while editing new programs as each edit (addition or deletion) jacks the usage up about 30Mb and never gives it back until restarting the program. We always edit two identical versions of  programs to keep from losing edits during a crash.

Unfortunately, those writing unstable programs are rarely able to correct them!

@BILL

You need to check your video solution.  If it is Intel that may be the issue.  Check the Intel related KB articles and if that does not resolve, open a support ticket.
