I developed an issue a couple of weeks ago. When I tried to choose the edit slide show from within SSP from any location (Edit\Edit Slideshow or Right click on a slide show and select "Edit Slide Show" nothing happened. For years these actions would open the slideshow builder, but some how it quit working. I tried installing over an existing installation... I tried uninstalling and reinstalling... neither worked. Finally it hit me... The file type association within windows might be wrong. So I restored the association of ".sspss" files back to the builder. Problem solved. Hope this helps someone else.

I have to admit that I'm surprised that reinstalling didn't fix this.

But I'm glad you were able to come up with a solution.
