Did all/most of the problems get worked out with the Multicore or just changing the option's Default hid most of the problems?
I've got my new Windows 7 SSP machine built.
Is the Multicore option working(preferred) or is it betterto just be left on single ccore mode??

Depends on how heavy you will be using SSP in my opinion.

And in the new verson, more stuff did get worked out, expecially getting ssp working properly with the newer nVidia drivers.  Better support for Windows 7 I think.

Oh and Single Core is the default.

My question was just if the default of single core made the problems go away or if they actually got fixed.

I'm installing a Quad Core Windows 7 64-bit machine in the next couple of weeks and don't want any surprises.

I just installed the newer update.

Gotta do some Testing on it.

Did some hard core testing.  Not a single problem yet.  In fact, I think most of my problems were fixed!

I doubt that you will get any huge surprise.

Are you running in single or multi-core mode?

Multi-Core.

I saw a significant increase in performace on a full 1080p TV Monitor.

Spent like a hour on SSP trying to push the performace to the limit.

Quite a nerdy recreational activity.

Good that eases my concerns. Thanks for the insight. I'm really looking forward to Background Inprov update.

No problem.

Also I tested on Windows 7 64bit and Windows XP 64bit.
