After I import a PowerPoint slide show and I play it in a presentation, The computer completely opens PowerPoint and it is running underneath SongShow on my computer desktop. This doesnt happen on my home laptop. Kind of annoying. Any suggestions?

I have given up running powerpoints through SSP. If there's no animations, I'll import them as a series of jpgs into a SSP slide show. If there are, I'll load it into PPT directly and then switch (alt-tab) between SSP and PPT.

I try to encourage visiting speakers to just give me their outlines, scriptures, images, and videos, and NOT the PPT. I can do so much more with their materials than they can with PPT, and I don't like the hassle of starting with their PPT (actually, I don't have it on my computer). Often, they seem to think that PPT is the last word in projection software, and I'm surprised how many spend their time typing in scripture and song lyrics over and over.

This is doubly true for songs. Getting a song set in PPT really adds to my workload, because I definitely prefer doing songs as songs.
