We had a situation where we needed to play a video file, and at the same time, play an audio file from the audio improv. We opened the playback options for the video, and muted it, but it didn't work. The audio from the video still played.

Alister,

I just took a look at this with a couple of test videos and it did work for me.

I will need some additional details:

What kind of video was it?

When set, does the Mute icon change?

Was it showing Muted in the Media Control panel?

I had another look yesterday. The file is an mp4. In the playback options it shows as muted - it shows a red line through the speaker icon. There is no other indication anywhere that it is. It still played the audio.

That is odd.

I would suggest getting with the support team so they can get that file and take a look.
