Version 8.1 > SSP display window 1 over rides Powerpoint projection

I use three (3) monitor displays

1= SSP presenter display

2= assigned window display 1 for SSP going to projector

3= Windows main start up screen

On monitor display #3 I will run PowerPoint and when activating a slide show it will project onto monitor display #2(window display 1 for SSP)  which in turn displays onto the projector screen.

If and when, during the active slide show, I click on monitor display #1, the SSP presenter display, SSP will override the PowerPoint slide show and display whatever is active within SSP.

So, I would like to have a PowerPoint run and continue to work in SSP presenter display without any interruption of the projector screen.

Can I do this or do I need a video switch?

If you run PowerPoint independently of SSP, then there is not a way to do that. However, if you present the PowerPoint presentation from within SSP, then you can do what you are describing.

Thank you very much for your response.

Would you please point me in the menu direction that would allow me to run PowerPoint within SSP.

Edit: I'm able to find the solution in the help manual. Again, thank you.
