Has anyone experienced problems with displaying videos with the new beta version yet? We installed the beta version and now our software locks up when displaying any videos or associating a slideshow or song with a motion background. Please help!!!!!
Thanks,
Brent
Brent,
Sorry to hear you are having issues...
I have not encountered the issues you described but there was not much detail there to duplicate with. Please go to the Beta forum and post your issue there with specific details on what is happening and the steps you are using to display/associate videos. Please include system details.
Not had the problem playing videos but we cannot build a video chane with more than 2 videos as it freezes after the second one. doesn't make any difference on what the video is or what format. This new beta version is fantastic otherwise.
Ron,
Thanks for the feedback. Issues should be posted in the Beta Test Support section. I have added a post there for you. If you have new info please respond here
I seem to have lost MPG playback and I'm not sure if it was before or after the beta installation. Can you confirm the versions of Power DVD that are compatible with the current version of SSP?
Update
I can play an MPG video through the Videos Panel just fine, but when I try to use the same video as a motion background, I get a black background and an alert that says:
"Unable to used fill type: Video file. Reason: Unable to use video due to its slow response time"
Also, I can no longer play MPEG-4 videos that play just fine two weeks ago on the same machine. We have the H.264 license. This is the message that I get when I try to play an MPEG-4 video:
"Unable to load video [title] / MPEG-4 Video (.mp4). Reason: Unable to load Video (NotAccessible). Reason: An internal application error has occurred. Contact technical support if this problem persists."
