Version 7 > looping powerpoint presentation

I have a several powerpoint presentationz that are designed to autoplay as a continuous loop. When I add them to a song show plus presentation and play it, it does auto advance but doesn't loop. Is there a setting or preferred method of creating/desplaying looping presenatations?
Thanks,
Mark

When we did our announcement loop in powerpoint, it looped without problem. I don't recall a special setting.
We do ours now as a SongShowPlus SlideShow(SSPSS). When I worked at a conference last summer, I was provided an announcement loop in powerpoint. I just imported it into a SSPSS as a series of jpegs using the import feature in SSP and told the SSPSS to autoadvance and loop. That will only work if the powerpoint doesn't use animations. But it works great it you don't need those animations.
But I don't know why it wouldn't loop. What version of Powerpoint do you have installed on your SongShow Plus machine? I've heard that 2010 works better that 2007, but haven't tried it.

Hey Mark,
Looks like your first post - Welcome!
Regarding the PPT looping - Yes it should loop and No there are not any special settings. I have just checked this in the latest build so if you have not updated please do so and try this again.
You should also double check your content by playing the slide show natively in PPT to make sure it loops as expected but if it loops there it should loop in SSP as well.
If this is not the case then give the Support Team a call and they can walk through it.
As Joel indicated, the Slide Show Builder does have a converter for PPT so you could pull them into SSB and set them up as you like.

Thanks Joel and George, I tried both of your suggestions and they both worked. Importing the Powerpoint to slide show builder and setting the ssb to loop worked fine. The source powerpoint came from someone elses computer. I saved the ppt as a pptx and reset the looping within powerpoint. At that point I could use the pptx natively within SSP and it also worked. Thanks much for your suggestions! Now back to creating an xml of our Hymnal for import.
