So currently the SSP site license is cheaper ($399) than a one professional liscense ($449.95)?

We currently have 5 Projection liscenses. I really expected churches like us to be able to get a discounted site liscense but when I called Go Fish they said that that's not the case.

What's your opinion?

The site license is a new addition, probably because of churches like yours.

My understanding on the site licences is that it's a Separate purchase, in addition to whatever version of SSP. EG
SSP Pro + CinFX + H.264 + Site Licence Pack.

I believe it is as Lucas states.

The Site license would be for a church that has a single linces, and is considerign adding more projection systems. To be cost effective, a church would need to add more than 4 systems. It would also be nice if your volunteers/staff want to see what the program would look like without the workstation watermark, and all machines could run the Projeciton license. This would also allow a quick emergency swap, and not have to worry about limited features and waiting for an unlock code.

Speaking of unlock codes and emergency... Has R-Technics put any more effort into a dongle? Could a dongle be used to remove/add the watermark? My wife's embroidry software won't even allow the program to open withouit the dongle connected to a USB port, so that would defeat a workstation mode for SSP.

No! Please not a hardware dongle. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Uhhh. Ahem.

...

We've not had a consistently good experience with hardware dongles at work.

I for one, would be over the moon for a hardware dongle. My needs for gigs rapidly change, and often I'm shuffling PC's around for their tasks.
Not only that, but because i have a portable machine, keeping the dongle on my keyring would allow me to demo SSP on any computer, including people who are asking the questions.

Hardware dongles are great when properly implemented.
