Version 8.0 > displays layers

I've been playing with the display settings and saw the "transparent base" setting. I know its for decklink keying but it made me think about layering displays.
EG. Display Window 1 = full screen on Display 2
Display Window 2 = Specified screen size on Display 2 with a transparent base.
So Display Window 2 could be completely hidden while its not being used by using a transparent background or similar.
It would mean that the display window 2 could fade in/out.
The other reason I'd like to see it is that if I wanted to use another program on the SSP output I could potentially fade out the SSP display window and play a Blu-ray or something.
P.S sorry if this should be in the 'You Tell Us' section.

I'm not sure if it is made like this or a glitch but I was trying out the layers feature and one of the options is "Improv" but it seems like this feature is stand alone.
For example, I can put two Video File layers but couldn't do a Video file layer and a Improv layer

@Chris: Interesting idea, but that's not how it works (or perhaps you knew that).
@Charles: The Background Improv fill can be used along with other background layers. It is not stand-alone.
