Version 8.5 > Bug in wait time??

Slide Show, Automatically Advance;
Object/Entrance Animation/ text (or whatever),
Settings/Wait time until animation starts: 1s (or whatever, except 0s)
Duration of animation: 10s (or whatever)
Animation only works if there is no wait time for automatically advanced slides.

I've seen that issue for quite some time. I've just quit trying anything fancy with animations.

If I need to do elaborate animations, I just use PowerPoint, because it's obvious they don't want us to use SlideShow Builder for those things.

It certainly seems like that is the case. It saddens me to see, what once was
by far the best church display software, now not keeping up with user
desires/needs. Nothing in the tech world is forever!
