Hello,

We want to sing the song You Are Holy (Prince of Peace). What is the best way to set up this song in SongShowPlus V7? I could not find anything in the forums.

Thank You!

What do you mean "set up this song"? If you are talking about the echos, then there have been several suggestions on this site as to how folks do that. My choice is to put the echo in () after the text, if room, or below the text, if not. If it is just a word or two, I put the echo in the text line in the proper location. If there are lots of echos or one side (or sex) singing after another, some have set up separate columns. Don't know if this is what you were asking about -- if not, give us a little more to go on.

It appears that the search feature isn't work right, so you may not find it, but it has been discussed.

In the past people set it up with the two parts above or beside. You can now convert a song to a slideshow, and edit to your hearts content.

We set ours up like the following, and advance just as worthy/everything is being sung.

(Guys)
I will sing to
And worship
The King who is worthy

(Girls)
You are Lord of Lords
You are King of Kings
You are mighty God
Lord of everything

We do similar, but we have the girls part on top. And we don't identify the parts, we just separate them with a blank line.

Oops. I was a bit wrong. We identify the parts as such:
(W): He is Lord of lords,
He is King of kings,
He is a mighty God,
Lord of everything.

(M): I will sing to and worship
The King who is worthy.

You are holy, (You are holy)
You are mighty, (You are mighty)
You are worthy, (You are worthy)
Worthy of praise. (Worthy of praise)
I will follow, (I will follow)
I will listen, (I will listen)
I will love You, (I will love You)
All of my days. (All of my days)

Chorus1
Men
I will sing to and worship
The King who is worthy
And I will love and adore Him
And I will bow down before Him

Women
You are Lord of lords You are King of kings
You are mighty God Lord of ev'rything
You're Emmanuel You're the Great I am
You're the Prince of Peace who is the Lamb

Chorus2
Men
And I will sing to and worship
The King who is worthy
And I will love and adore Him
And I will bow down before Him

Women
You're the living God You're my saving grace
You will reign forever You are Ancient of Days
You are Alpha Omega Beginning and End
You're my Savior Messiah Redeemer and Friend

Chorus3
You’re my Prince of Peace
And I will live my life for You.

although I would probably put women on top now instead of gents. But it works Fine.  When clicking, I listen to the women part to help me click on time, as it is a fast song.

I know that this is an old post. But it is still confusing, but our church has different formats that we use.

One Format...

I will sing to
(You are Lord of Lords)

And worship
(You are King of Kings)

Other Format....

The King who
Is worthy

(You are mighty God
Lord of everything)

Format with a smaller font.

I will sing to           You are Lord of Lords
And worship           You are King of Kings

In this format, we have the alignment as centered. Then we try to align it by putting in spaces between the lines, to make them align properly.

I have to admit, the best implementation I've seen of this is the iWorship treatment. But you have to either use their tracks or get your band to play with the click tracks.
