Hello:

I'm looking for some new background image and motion loop sites to add to my SSP.  Free is very cool...but if price is necessary so be it.  Does anyone have any sites they could recommend that they use?

Many places have a free monthly (or so) download if you sign up at their site. motionloops.com; midnightoilproducitons.com, worshiphousemedia.com, ignitermedia.com

There's a group on flickr sharing graphics
http://www.flickr.com/groups/worshipgraphics/pool/

And, for $40/year, churchmedia.net offers their Media eXchange Center (MXC), which is a sharing library of member graphics and some video. Over 16,000 pieces available. Best money spent, in my opinion. Great community too. As a disclaimer, I've hung around the place so long, that I am on the Board of Directors there, so my opinion may be somewhat biased.

Other Flickr worship photos:

http://www.flickr.com/groups/inspired_by_him

http://www.hitthebongo.co.uk/videofx/ free short video loops for Movie Maker but can be used anywhere
http://www.midnightoilproductions.com/ Free monthly video (usually quite good) once you sign up
Try some of the time lapse photography from YouTube
http://www.reelworship.com/ free stuff after sign-up
http://www.revostock.com/Home-Empty.html monthly freebie after sign-up
http://www.heartlight.org/cgi/heartgallery.cgi nice free backgrounds with scripture text

I haven’t found any of these sites objectionable after sign-up; usually just a monthly email notice of sales, etc.

Also remember that you can do a lot in SSP with a single image or video by changing color, hue, motion, etc. For example, today I used one motion background for all the music, but changed the color from song to song -- it tied all the music together, but added just a little variety. Also you can do some nice stuff by superimposing media over each other.

Excellent suggestions. I actually came across the churchmedia site yesterday and signed up for the $40 dollar pro version.  They have a good selection of image backgrounds.  I will check out the others too.  Many thanks..

We use shiftworship.com membership. A church from Singapore suggested to check out powerpointsermons.com and sermonspice.com. Any other suggestions? I don't have much time to create my own videos/images. I'd prefer a ready product where I just set a background.

Sorry about the triple post. I'm using my home laptop and the wireless is very sloooow. Apparently it took all of my clicks.

No problem. It happens to a lot of us. I've taken care of it.
