Version 9.0 > SSP9 freezes with edits

I am having difficulty with the program freezing up when I have tried to add a picture from a file copy and when adding a new song. The only way to resolve it has been to end the program from the Task Manager. Sometimes, I have even had to restart the entire computer. I am using the 12/5 download.
