Version 9.0 > Reversion to 8.5

Curious if anyone has experience with reversion to ver. 8.5 after trying 9.0? I am using 9.0 on a Win10Pro machine.
I have experienced lag in building scripture shows and also in running the Slide Shows in the Program Presentation.
