Whenever I try to use Cyberling Power DVD version 7 the DVD playback freezes up.  I have uninstalled all other codecs, uninstalled songshow, reinstalled songshow, uninstalled powerdvd and re-installed power dvd.  This is a very frustrating issue as the dvd has frozen up in the middle of sunday morning service.  I have updated all the drivers for our graphics card (nVidia 8800 GTX).  What else can I do???

Oh, forgot.  We are trying to import Integrity's iWorship dvd's (split track)

It doesn't help now, but you may need to contact Tech Support and see what they have to say.

If it doesn't violate the copyright of the iWorship DVD, you can copy the .vob files out of the video_ts directory (or is that ts_video) on the DVD and rename them as .avi or .mpg on your hard drive. Then you can play them from there, rather than the DVD.

But I don't know how the split tracks would work with that work around.

I know you probably don't want to hear this, but we are still using WinDVD4, and have minimal problems with DVD import. Of course we don't use it a whole lot, but it usually works.

We end every Teen CBS evening with Victory Chant on Vol1.

I could try and find the exact split track with words file and convert it, but SSP for me has had issues playing mpeg videos through the software.  I could try and find a copy of WinDVD 4, just a pain since the song show people say that PowerDVD v7 is preffered.   I will talk to tech support today.

I have bought the Mpeg versions of the Iworship set.

We use them all the time, without a problem, they include the three audio options
Full track, split track and click track.

I had also purchased the series on DVD originally, but find we never use them now.

I find that the DVD versions are a much higher quality visually, I can't really notice the difference in Audio.

The MPEG versions are great for SSP, just click and you're away.
For about $150us they are a steal, it also saves the slight lag when starting the dvd, AKA the spinup time.
A unnessesary distraction.

IF the licence allows it I find a very handy program for converting DVD's to MPG's and AVI's is xMpeg

The best part about this software is it's released under the GNU General Public Licence

Free to use, not the price, thankfully, xMpeg is both free to use and it's price is free
