Version 5.5 > SSP and PowerPoint

We use the SSP PowerPoint support all  the time, with one exception.  I have noticed that when running an automatically-timed PPT slideshow through SSP the timings are all off, usually by a noticeable amount.  As a result, those few times when we run programmed/timed PPT shows we must run then externally rather than from within SSP, and this causes operator issues except among our most skilled and experienced operators.

Is there any way to fix this issue, or a workaround?  Will it be fixed in v7 when it comes out?

Thanks,

Roger

Do you have the promodule set for SSP control or PPT control?

We've had much better luck with PPT control.

Haven't tried that yet, because we often have stability problems with SSP when we enable PPT control.  But I will test it as soon as possible.  Wouldn't surprise me if it resolves the issue, but I don't necessarily like the solution if it means having to use PPT control a lot.

I've never had good luck with the SSP control of the PPT, so I always have PPT control enabled.

SSP control is the way we do it also.
