what is the easiest way to import additional bible translations and use them in ssp7?

The easiest way is to use the Online Bible. You'll need to download their modules or purchase their disk from GoFishMedia.net.
Online Bible is a misleading name for the product, because the content is installed on your PC. It does not come from the internet.
Some versions of QuickVerse and Logos software have been supported in the past, but Online Bible is their primary focus for Bible support.
After you install the Online Bible, you will need to rerun your SSP install and make sure it adds the Online Bible support modules, so SSP can access it.

Becky, did you rerun the install routine and install the online bible module?

As I recall, you need to open up online bible and register the purchased version(s).

upgraded ssp and now no quickverse
I have used QV for 6 years now and only wish SSP would continue to fully support it. That said, the techs at SSP have said that nothing in the newer versions has been changed in regard to the use with QV. So, if you were using QV successfully before and not with a newer edition of SSP, I would give the techs a call.

I'm with you there. I fortunate that the work schedule for my "day" job has me off on Friday's. But I can imagine that a volunteer with a "normal" work schedule has trouble scheduling that.
