Help! I recently "cleaned up" my computer and I may have inadvertentley deleted a shell file or something.
When I go to edit a video by right clicking on it..to set start and stop points..I get this error message:
Action 'Edit' is not registered for this file type. Would you like
to register this action now?
Any ideas what I do at this point. The help wasn't much help .
Thanks in advance,
Jon

What program used to be launched when you selected Edit for a video?
I would reinstall that product. That should straighten out the file association.

Joel,
I don't recall what the program was. I thought it was a plug-in provided by SSP. It basically allowed me to set in and out points for the playing of the video.

Joel,
Actually I am wrong. The loop settings are under video playback settings. It is all happening with WMV files. Now when I try to load ANY .wmv file I get this messege...
Unable to add Video to program. Reason: Unable to load
Video (NotAccessible).
Reason: Unable to create video player. Reason: Invalid class
string
I am now reloading specific components of SSP to see if that fixes the problem.

Well that worked. I had to reload SSP components and now it is all good.
