Version 7 > Bible Translations

I always wondered why there is a fee for many bible translations while we all can get it for free at http://www.biblegateway.com/ Question to developers: is there a way to incorporate these translations from the web? Scriptures would be cloud-based and not stored in the computer. That way, IMHO, there is no issue with copyrights.
Also, are there any updates for Russian bible support? I'm using Online Bible plug-in but it displays weird characters instead of Cyrillic. It works with songs so I wonder why can't you make it work with the bible. I don't think you have any Russian-speaking techs but may be you could reach out to someone who is techy and knows how to deal with Cyrillic.
Thanks.

While on the subject of other languages, will Korean be supported in SSB? Presently, we can use Korean text in songs, but not in SSB.

On Biblegateway.com and bible.com (a.k.a. youversion), etc, you aren't downloading. you are reading from thier web site.
It's the same way with the Bible app from youversion. You can download some versions for free (ESV, NKJV, KVJ) but not all (NIV, NLT). It depends on the publishers copyright and permissions granted.

I'd like to have SSP display NIV and NLT through biblegateway.com and not download anything.

Are there any improvements in SSP 8 as far as Russian bible using Online Bible plugin?

You should be able to use the "display web page" and put in the URL of the scripture.
I haven't tried it, but I don't know why it wouldn't work.
