What software do I need to add to Windows 10 to be able to play a DVD clip in SSP?

Thanks.

This is one of many reasons I have Windows 7 instead of Windows 10.

Since I don't have Windows 10, I cannot say for sure, but I have used Power DVD and WinDVD in the past. Can you install a trial of either of those to see if they will work? As far as WinDVD, I think you had to have an older version (8???) for that to work. I purchased ulead video studio 11 several years ago because it was the only way to get the correct version of WinDVD, all other sources were too new.

Long ago I found trying to play DVD was too much of a hassle and since then have always
copied videos to the hard drive.

There are a couple of KB articles that cover this but the short answer is the Windows DVD Player.  It is available in the Windows Store.

Thanks George.

And Dick, that's exactly what I generally do. Usually use HandBrake to rip the video to the hard drive. Just want to know the options.

I think I got that suggestion from you ;-)
