 WOW...I used the photo show slide show builder to build just a few montages (nice feature btw).  However,  my pics are only 1 meg or smaller .... making a slide show of only 20-25 images and the slide show file balloons to over 250 meg!  Also,  I get stream write errors when trying to import more than 25 or so slides.

Why is the file size so large?  I know hard drive space seems a plenty (I remember the 40 meg 10 pound hard drives ) but why so large?

I think Doug said in a different thread that when you import the pictures, it converts them to bitmaps, making them much larger.

If you use the link to, rather than include option, this won't happen.
