Version 8.0 > Lost descenders

When I align text with the bottom of the text box, I lose the bottoms of the letters that descend below the others. (g, j, p, etc.) Is there a setting preference that I'm missing?

This may be a sizing issue or a margin issue.
I played with this a bit and I think I see what you are referring to. I found that if I have the grow and shrink options selected it sizes in a way that preserves these but if you do not and try to adjust the text box size and text manually it is possible to cut off the descenders (and other text too) if the box is adjusted to do so.
If you have these options checked and you are still seeing this behavior then I will defer to the support team so that they can verify what you are seeing and gather content to replicate.
