The Wave Pool > urgent Artic Edge need
7/19/2006 5:04:57 PM
Since I do this on a part time basis, with a demanding full time job, I am just now getting to setting up words for Speak Up!. If you have done Artic Edge, you know my problem. Only the DVD has the full version of the song. Unless of course I haven't found the right CD for it.
Does anyone have an audio file of Speak Up! that includes the 'RAP' part? Or at least can tell me where to purchase a download of it?
TIA

Sorry, I'm in the middle of making up graphic slides for Group's Fiesta for our church.
No Artic Edge for us.

I ended up finding a DVD Ripper that would let me Rip the full 2:26 min/sec of the video. DVDRipper would only do 50% of whatever in the trial version, and it was upside-down mirrored.
I ended up using the trial of Magic DVD Ripper (http://www.magicdvdripper.com/), so that is probably the one I will buy. The only thing I wasn't happy about was that it divided the 28 tracks into 25. Then I had to split track 25 to get the part I needed. It also has a bit of a limit on it's export size to an AVI file. I was able to do 640x480 wmv, and that worked perfect for WMP. A small DL for WinDVD, and it played in WinDVD also.

What is Speak Up and Artic Edge that has been mentioned every now and then?

We're in the middle of Arctic Edge right now. It is Vacation Bible School and Speak Up! is a song used in it.

There is a nifty, super easy to use, inexpensive, but quite accurate editing program from Australia called NCH Swift Sound @ https://www.nch.com.au/. Wave Pad Sound Editor, Switch Sound Format Converter and a bunch of other things. You can edit out minutae easily, quickly, and painlessly. I know this doesn't help you for this year's VBS, but there's always next year, plus conferences, sermons, etc. Our teen-aged daughter's friend introduced us to it. PLUS 2 weeks, fully capable, free trial. Very cool tool.
