Version 5.5 > Remove ALL custom Display settings from songs

Greetings All:
With the release of SSP 7 this week, I am in the process of reinstalling windows XP on our worship PC as well so that we may start fresh. I plan on backing up our current song list but it is in dire need of some cleanup efforts. Our former IT administrator set a considerable amount of custom display settings for many of the songs in each database. I would like to remove all of that in one pass, sorta speak, before I backup the database. Does anyone have an idea about how to acomplish this?
Thanks in advance,
Chris

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but I am wondering why you would want to remove all the custom settings of the current songs? I know that when I have set up the songs I went to a lot of work to do so. I set up special backgrounds for them with special margins, fonts, etc. It seems to me that by removing all those custom settings, somebody will have to redo all that work.

I am not sure about removing display settings in "bulk"
V7 offers you the option to remove the settings for a song by right clicking and selecting "remove display settings" (cant remember if v5.5 had this or not)
Maybe a call/email to tech support, might be the way to go..
Hope this helps

Basically, the files that were associated with many of the songs were wiped out at one point so those song throw error messages. I would prefer to start fresh but it's not critical. Thanks for the response.

Oh, I see. Like they're looking for the background or something. That makes sense.
