Each week I prepare slide shows for our pastors' sermons at home using the SSP Slide Show utility, and then use the Backup/Restore utility to transport them to church on Sunday.  Works fine.

HOWEVER, for the last month or so the utility has been restoring the slide show at church with the file extension ".spss_new", which SSP can't see in the list of available slide shows unless I rename it. 

Any idea what causes this and how I can fix it?

I haven't used backup/restore enough to comment.

You may want to email this to Tech Support directly and see if they have any comment.

Why dont you add it to a program and use "package to go" ??

Maybe try it that way and see how it goes.?
