FWIW, and I hate to be this picky, but the GoFish site is a little clueless on one rather significant aspect of the On Demand Training.  Where is there a definition of Silver, Gold and Platinum customers?  Whose customers?  Go Fish, or rTechnics?  How does one become a Silver, Gold or Platinum customer?  My church pays for the annual subscription - does that make us Silver, Gold, Platinum, or just chopped liver?

Nice idea, but it's lacking some crucial info.

Sorry to be a pest.

Roger

P.S.  Aha.  I found it on the SongShow Plus page under Purchase.  When did this support stratification begin?  I don't remember there being anything but the basic $150 annual subscription.  Or maybe there just wasn't much reason for anything else, so I didn't remember it.

Suggestion: It might be a good idea to link to the support levels from the On Demand Training stuff on the GoFish site.

Good idea. As I understand it, Silver is the basic level ($99) subscription.

But clarification is always a good thing.

The three levels were actually introduced when SSP was officially released back in May, 2006. The main thing that has changed with the on-demand training is that the training is now pre-recorded so the videos can be viewed at any time. Previously, the same training sessions were offered on-line but were live which required specific schedules.

Are these sessions one-time deals, or can my Platinum Support buy me the ability to watch these lessons several times over the year? It would be nice if I get a new sucker, er, volunteer to help out up here, that they could watch those videos, after I had already watched them.

Yes to the latter...

You have unrestricted access to the training videos as long as your subscription is valid.

George are you saying that every year we could add 3 new training Videos to our "Training Library"? and if the videos are updated do we get access to the new Updated Videos or the olde ones that we "Purchased)

My previous statement may have been a bit broad - let me clarify...

First let me say that this is a new feature and as such may change some over time.

As I understand the function today, it is as follows:

A user subscription level includes the ability to select a fixed number of training volumes.  After the volumes are selected, the user has unrestricted access to them for the duration of the subscription.

Is there a web page somewhere that lists the 10 classes?

I'd like to see the list so I can noodle on which one we'd like.

And is there a short demo of one of the videos so we can have an idea as to what there like?

Yes on both counts....

You can view an OnDemand Video Training demo from the GoFishMedia main page.

Once you register on the GoFishMedia site you can view the video selections list.

OK. I see the demo. But I've signed on and I don't see where the listing is.

For the list of training available:

After you have registered and logged in, hover the mouse over the on demand training, then click on "view".  This should take you to a Video Training page.  Click on "Make Video Selections" to see the list of training videos.

Please contact GoFishMedia for additional information about OnDemand Video Training.

Ah. Got it.

I wonder why they would go to such lengths to hide that list?
