Feature Preview: Huescale

Another new hue-based effect in the July 2008 Edition is Huescale. The purpose of this effect is specifically to take a grayscale source image or video, and colorize it. This is done by converting the gray areas to color while leaving the black and white areas uncolored. In other words, the grayer areas of an image get the most color. Below are three examples. The first is the original grayscale image. The next two show the image after applying the green and blue hue respectively.
