The Grain Effect

The Grain effect of the Cinematic Effects Collection lets you add a certain edge to images and videos. It adds noise creating the impression of a low-light situation or degraded film quality. Here is how it can be used.

 

Below you see an image that is our original:

We then add a Sepia effect (Video Effects Collection):

And now, the Grain effect:

The Grain effect can be static or show motion. Below is a video showing the same image above but with a Pan / Zoom effect added. The video contains two examples, the first shows the moving image without the Grain effect, and the second one with the Grain effect.
