Feature Review: Pasting from Zip Files
In the February 2009 Edition of SongShow Plus, we introduced the feature that let you easily import media files from a .zip file. In The September 2009 Edition, a related ease-of-use feature was added which lets you copy/paste a .zip file into a media database panel.
Let's say that you just downloaded a video file from Shift Worship. Shift places all of its media files in .zip files. From within a Windows Explorer window, copy the .zip file to the clipboard. In SongShow Plus, go to the video files panel, select the folder you where you want to place the video file, right-click, and select Paste File(s). This will invoke the same .zip import tool that you use when using the Import menu command. In this case, however, it will automatically select the target folder for you.
The process from here is the same as described in the previous blog post about the .zip import tool. This new feature simply adds one more convenient way to import your files.
