Where can I find my SongShow Plus Customer Account ID?
Applicable SongShow Plus Versions:
This article applies to all versions of SongShow Plus.
For many operations or obtaining certain information regarding SongShow Plus, the user will need the organization's SongShow Plus Customer Account ID.
The Customer Account ID and associated password (usually your zip or postal code) may be necessary for the following:
- Evaluation Extension Request
- SongShow Plus Activation processes
- Renewal of SongShow Plus
- Downloading update/install files for SongShow Plus
- Purchase or creation of new licenses
- Accessing account details online
- Accessing cloud services within SongShow Plus
- Support for SongShow Plus
How you find this information may depend on the status of a current installation of SongShow Plus.
If you have an activated installation of SongShow Plus available:
From SongShow Plus 9.x and later
- Go to a machine that SongShow Plus has been installed and activated.
- Open SongShow Plus.
- Select the toolbar menu command License > Account Information. This will open the "Your Account" page for SongShow Plus.
- Listed near the top of this window will be your Organization Name and Customer Account ID.
From SongShow Plus 8.x and earlier
- Go to a machine that SongShow Plus has been installed and activated.
- Open SongShow Plus.
- Select the toolbar menu command Help > About. This will open the "About" page for SongShow Plus.
- Listed near the top of this window will be your Customer Account ID.
If you do not have an activated installation of SongShow Plus available:
From your receipt email
- When a purchase is made for SongShow Plus, an email receipt is sent to the email given that contains, among other things, your SongShow Plus Customer Account ID.
From your SongShow Plus Administrator
- When SongShow Plus was initially purchased, an email receipt was sent to the email given that contains, among other things, your SongShow Plus Customer Account ID. If this went to an administrator they will be able to provide this information to you.
From the SongShow Plus Support Team
- As a last resort, you can contact the Support Team and they can look up your SongShow Plus Customer Account ID for you.
- The Support Team will need at least your organization name, address and authorized contact to find your information accurately.
