 * Updates correcting this issue may be available. Ensure that you are using the most current build of SongShow Plus from the Download page before proceeding. *

NOTE: This bug was corrected in the 8/02 build of 9.3.

Symptom:
When trying to launch SongShow Plus, the following error occurs - Unable to initialize SongShow Plus. Reason: Cannot create file "C:\ProgramData\R-Technics\SongShow Plus\9.3\indexes\config.json". Access is denied. (1164)

Possible Cause:
If the selected Windows user does not have permissions to the C:\ProgramData folder path, this file required for the indexer cannot be created.  In many cases, SongShow Plus is installed under Windows user accounts that are not an admin.  In some cases this will work as expected however many system setups may have more stringent restrictions for a typical (Limited) user on the system.

Troubleshooting Step:
Launch SongShow Plus in a Windows profile that has admin access.  NOTE: This will create the file but the user still will not be able to update the file.  This will allow the launch of SSP but the media files may not show up.

Possible Solution:
Ensure that the selected Windows user does have permissions to the C:\ProgramData\R-Technics folder path.  If you are not sure how to do this or do not have the rights to change it, contact your local IT department. Update SongShow Plus to the 8/02 build of 9.3 or later.
