XML Song Import not working as expected

NOTE: At this time, only the ISO-8859-1 encoding type is supported. All elements are optional with the exception of Title. Use a "//" to indicate line breaks in lyrics. There can be multiple SongImport elements within the SongImportList element which lets you import more than one song at a time.
There is an example of how the XML document should be formatted and additional details in the current User Guide found in the Support section. The XML elements are case sensitive and should be used exactly as they appear in the example. Unsupported characters such an ampersand (&) are not allowed.
Symptom:
The January 2008 Edition released 3/31/08 has an updated song parts methodology that allows deviation from the "classic" song layout and custom song part titles. The XML Import is not working with these new song parts.
The updated XML Import plug-in was accidentally excluded from the January 2008 distribution. What is distributed is an older version of the plug-in that is not compatible with the January 2008 Edition.
Possible Cause:
There may be other undocumented issues with the XML import.
Possible Solution:
The correct Plug-in will be included in the April 2008 release. Update to that version or later.
