Version 7 > A note about subscription renewals
Some of you in this forum will have subscriptions that are expiring this month. I do trust that you will renew them! There is a change that you should be aware of. When you renew your subscription, you will be sent a new unlock code and/or license file. It is important that you install this new license on your machine to ensure that newer versions of SSP will work correctly when you install them.
For clarification, your SSP installation will not expire – SSP is not a subscription service. However, access to the upgrades will be subscription based which is why the unlock code will need to be refreshed at renewal time.
If things work as expected, after renewal, you will receive an email message that contains both a Code B and a license file. The license file is something new for SSP V7. It can be used in place of Code B. The license file will be easier for you to use. You simply copy it to your projection machine, right-click on the file, then select the Register License menu item. That’s all there is to it.
However, you can still use the “classic” Code B mechanism if you prefer. To use Code B, you will need to step through the unlock process using the unlock utility.
Please let me know you need any further clarifications or explanations.

Just waiting on the MD to submit a "Green Sheet" to the Secretary. Can you PM me with our specific date, or does it default to the end of the month.

They aren't sent out until you request them.

How can I find out when my Pro Modual subscription will expire? On the old SongShowPlus web site, that information was available each time I logged in. Why is not available now?
I am looking forward to the new enhancement of version 7 (working with version 5.5), but are upgrades going to require a DSL connection to be able to download version revisions?
Please advise

Thanks again.

I just recently realized that this information is not as accessible as it used to be. I'll see what I can do about that.
In the meantime, however, you can click on your name in the upper-right-hand corner, which takes you to the registration page. Enter your customer ID and church zip code. Then click Save/Update. After doing that, a message will be displayed that indicates when your subscription expires.

If you now go to songshowplus.com, click on Purchase/Renew, then click on Renew Subscription, you can enter your customer ID and zip code. Click Next and you will get a page showing your church information and when your subscription expires. If nothing is shown for the expiration, then it is expired.
Check http://www.songshowplus.com/v7 and scroll clear to the bottom.
is this to the Basic Edition or the Professional Edition
Thanks
