Hi again, We are looking to incorporate bible verse projection, which we haven't done up till now. So...we have to choose a 3rd party bible SW app to buy. Any suggestions, based on experience? It will only be used to show NIV text for projection. No other use. Thanks for saving me some time doing all the research!! Dave

Many of us are VERY happy with the Online Bible. We only needed the NIB, so I was able to download the Online Bible modules for free and just pay the unlock code for the NIV ($20), rather than paying for a lot of versions that we would never or rarely use.

As I recall, the other Bibles supported by SSP are Quickverse (which no longer includes NIV, unless you have an old copy laying around) and Logos.

Hey Doug/Reid! I can't find a page on www.songshowplus.com that tells which versions SSP supports.

Never mind. I did find one reference in the System Requirements page.

If you go to the Systems Requirements page and scroll clear to the bottom, it says that SSP will work with Libronix, Quickverse and Onlinebible, with links as appropriate.

Thanks guys - bought online bible and it works great.

Only thing is I can't seem to find a way to display more than one verse per screen all the time.
I know you can select multiple verses and say 'display all those' but I would like to have, say, three verses per screen all the time for the bible text. Can't find out a way to make that happen.

Suggestions?

My only suggestion would be to submit this to the wishlist. Sorry.

There are very few times I show more than two verses at a time, because of screen crowding.

BTW, the top part of the Wish list is still in Beta, so use the bottom part to submit a new request.

The top part is fun requests to test thier new voting procedure.

There may be something under the scripture tabs in the default display settings. I haven't really looked.

Unfortunately there is not. I just recently purchased the NIV and HCSB for Online-Bible. I looked everywhere for a setting that said something like 8 lines per page, or so many verses per page. Then I forgot to Wish List it, so I will do it now.
