Feature Preview: Color Adjustment

3/17/2007  < Previous  Next >

The following describes a feature of the upcoming April 2007 Edition of SSP.

New to SSP, and something that should be of great interest, is the Color Adjustment effect. With this, you can increase and decrease the red, green, and blue color channels of any image or video. This capability offers a number of possibilities. Obviously, having the capability to make slight adjustments to an image or video to help it look better for a presentation is desirable. However, with these adjustments, you will also have the capability to change the look of a image or video considerably. This will be useful when you are using images that are non-organic, such as Digital Juice Jumpbacks or Juice Drops. That collection of background videos you have has now been multiplied a hundred fold!

The Color Adjustment effect is included in the new Effects Collection 2 plug-in and is available with a Professional Level license.

A Digital Juice Jumpback first shown in its original colors, then with colors altered using the Color Adjustment effect (shown below). This change is made a run-time without re-rendering the video.
